It lives ...

As a media specialist, it's my daily job to make media happen; whether that's broadcasting vital information for your every day life, or recording public service announcements that one in 1,000 will find of interest, or even just taking a photo, or some other form of immediate and instant media gratification.

Then, I remembered the blog medium.

It's June of 2011 and while I occasionally Tweet a witticism, update Facebook with reposted news items or upload YouTube video ... I have very little time or motivation to commit my longer-term thoughts to the virtual page.

That being said, a friend told me a long time ago, "brevity is the soul of wit." Meaning: shut up and stop rambling.

The whos, whats, whys, whens, wheres and hows will all be explained at a later time, but for now, let's just say that I'm going back to my roots of posting random thoughts and observations in the hopes that at the end ... I, too, can get a book deal out of it.

Although, with Oprah retired from the television business, what would be the point of writing a book without anyone to notice the impending scandal?
